✦ Our method
How we read your sky
Everything on Celestial Cipher is worked out from your own birth chart, the traditional Vedic way. Here is exactly what we do, what our AI guides can and cannot do, and what happens to your details.
1The maths
- Sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, calibrated to the Swiss Ephemeris and accurate to well under one arcsecond for 1900–2100.
- Whole-sign Rashi chart and a Bhava Chalit chart with Sripati house middles, so a planet near a house boundary is placed the way a guruji would place it.
- Rahu and Ketu are the mean nodes. Vimshottari dasha uses 365.25-day years, counted from the Moon's birth nakshatra, down to the pratyantardasha.
- Divisional charts follow Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra. Panchang, Rahu Kaal, Choghadiya and hora are computed for the city you choose, from sunrise and sunset there.
- North and South Indian chart styles are both available; switch on any Kundli page.
2How the AI writes a reading
- Every reading starts from your calculated chart: the transits of the day against your Moon and Lagna, your tara, your running dasha. Under each daily reading we show the keys it was built from.
- Our gurujis are AI guides and are always labelled as such. They are trained on classical Parashari principles, but they can make mistakes, and they never replace a doctor, a lawyer or a financial adviser.
- Readings are written fresh for you; nothing is copied from a sign-only template. If a reading fails to arrive, the coins are returned.
3Your details
- Your birth details stay on your device unless you choose to save them to an account. Only you see your chart; we never sell data, show ads or run ad trackers.
- You can download or delete everything from your Account page at any time, and deleting is final.
4Money, plainly
- Every price is shown before you pay, in your currency. A day pass is a one-off: it never renews.
- Plans renew until you cancel, and cancelling takes one tap on the Plans page. You keep the plan to the end of the period you paid for.
- Store items come with a lab certificate and a photo of your actual stone before dispatch, and unworn items can be returned within 14 days. No stone or remedy is sold with a promise of results.
5What we don't do
- No fear-selling, no fake reviews, no celebrity endorsements, and no AI pretending to be a human astrologer. If we ever add human astrologers, we will say how they were checked.
