Celestial Cipher works out Vedic astrology charts and readings. Your birth details are personal, so this page explains plainly what we keep, why, and how to delete it.
1What we collect
The birth details you enter (name, date, time and place of birth) and, if you create an account, your email address. Charts you save for family and friends, your AI chats and readings, and short notes the AI astrologer remembers about your life (you can see and delete each one in the chat). Your approximate city, from your IP address or, with your permission, your device location, to work out local timings. Simple usage counts, such as which tools are opened. If you message us from the help assistant, your message, email and that help chat. We use no advertising trackers.
2Why we use it
To calculate your Kundli and make every horoscope, remedy and reading personal to you; to keep your details and history when you come back or sign in on another device; and to see which features are used so we can improve them. We never sell your data and we show no ads.
3Your consent
We store your birth details on our servers only after you tick the consent box or create an account. Without that, your details stay only on your device and you can still use the site.
4Where it is stored
Our database is hosted by Supabase and the site runs on Vercel, so data may be stored outside your country. When you use the AI astrologer or an AI reading, your chart details and messages are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write the answer. Under its commercial terms, this data is not used to train its models. The site owner can see account details, coin balances and saved chats and readings, only to give support, fix problems and prevent misuse.
5Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while you use the site. You can delete it at any time: "Delete my account and data" on your account page removes your account, saved charts, chats and readings, and the button below removes the details saved from this device. Deletion takes effect straight away; copies in routine backups are removed as those backups expire.
6Your rights
Wherever you live, you can see, correct or delete your data and withdraw your consent. We aim to follow the principles of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and, for visitors in Europe and the UK, the GDPR.
7Age
The site is meant for people aged 18 and over. Parents can save a child's chart in their own account.
